National banking ready to support seaweed industry development come after of the large marine commodity potency which give many benefit. Banking support realization in form of Micro, Small, and middle business ready to give with the requirement the seaweed farmer opens the business chance as soon as possible.
The Young senior Analyst of Bank Indonesia branch Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Jacob Dos Amaral explained in front of seaweed farmer. He stated that the real support of bank can be passed through Country Cooperation unit. Bank Indonesia via state own entrepreneurship and national public private ready to give the assistance to the farmer in seaweed Minapolitan center. While at Maando, North Sulawesi, The Bank Indonesia deputi Halim Alamsyah explained that BI (bank Indonesia) facilitate seaweed development by inviting seaweed expert from France to increase research and develop the quality. Visits to Center for Study and Promotion of Algae in France had been done and the result haven processing on research to know the best quality product.
The purpose of the partnership is having maximally seaweed product then processing to be high economical product. According to Alamsyah Facilities and technical assistance toward seaweed development is a BI realization to real sector development.
UMKM (Middle and small micro business) Training
BI had done business development service provider training, with the purpose to help in connecting the capability of middle and small micro business with bank.
Dos Amaral stated that because of seaweed business activity have been run, automatically bank easy to give fund. Micro credit can be proposed via cooperation. The fund aimed in increasing production capacity.
